Women over 40

Base on what Andy Rooney thinks about women over 40 on 60 Minutes (show) , my family and i debated about women when they reach 40 gets more depreciated rather than men at 40. So, each of us sided whether women over 40 are depreciated or more appreciated. Each side gave reasons just to defend what they believed in. For those who believed that women over 40 are being depreciated said that men prefer younger women to spend their life with. They said women over 40 can't give what a younger women can give. In addition, men over 40 can have what they want. It is easier for men at 40 to find other girls rather than 40 yr old women trying to find men.. On the other hand the opponent side said women over 40 are more elegant than younger women thus getting the attention of men and more likely men would want elegant women to spent their life with. Plus, younger women would prefer men in the same age caliber as they are.

Although the discussion/ debate was heating up. We were able to release a positive talking environment around us. We didn't end up with a conflict but rather a knowledgeable, peaceful environment. A de-escalatory conflict spiral. We exchange positive conversation thus had a fruitful result:)

Here are some ideas Andy Rooney said about 40 yr. old women:

• A woman over 40 will never wake you in the middle of the night and ask, 'What are you thinking?’ She doesn't care what you think.
  
• Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to a woman over 40.
• Older women are forthright and honest. They'll tell you right off if you are a jerk, if you are
  acting like one. You don't ever have to wonder where you stand with her.
• For all those men who say, 'Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?Here's an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage.Why? because women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage!:)

The debate topic might be sexist, rude, offensive for some... no offense to 40 year old men but women at 40 are definitely not depreciated!:)
