signals

signals are seen throughout our life. it can be seen anywhere! moreover, signals are very important in what we do. Signals can be seen while playing sports like basketball. basketball players should know the signals or signs of the game. they should know the proper sign for traveling, getting a foul and even their own team signals. violation of these signals could cause the team to lose or disqualification. This also goes for the referee, referees should master and know the signals of the game or else the members of the team might get confused; therefore resulting to a chaotic game.

Another, signals could also be seen in a "getting to know" stage in a relationship. When a guy likes a girl, more likely he shows positive signals like his pupils dilate while looking at her, looking at her and not staring her down! Same goes for girls, positive signals could convey that they feel the same way; therefore also returning a positive signal to the opposite sex.

signals are seen everywhere. It falls in the category of non verbal communication... thus individuals are responsible for interpreting it. But some signals are studied like rules, hand signals in a game. you can't just shout "time out!" in a game knowing that your voice is competing with the voice of the crowd so people us their hands to form a "T" and waving it around plus, signals can catch people's attention easily. :)
