Most of the games that i know involve surviving and conquering the opponent. most video games like counterstrike, dotA, gears of war and resident evil have a specific goal... which is to defeat the enemies and survive throughout the game.
Most of them involve two or more players. each individual has his or her own goal... which is to survive and attain the highest score. For their group goal, they should finish each objectives in order to advance to the next level. For resident evil as an example, the start player should survive and look after his partner so they can both work together to finish and reach their goals which is to save the world from the undead or zombies and alienated creatures.
Some video games requires group work. they usually belong to social groups where interaction is needed... for some it could also be a learning group where people learn how to cooperate and be strategic... who says we can't learn anything from playing video games?:) just an important reminder, know your priorities before playing... play moderately!:)
For my human communication group... although we experienced a lot of challenges making our projects like arranging meetings and doing our group projects... i learned a lot from them... i consider them as my learning and growth groups. they taught me a lot of things. to survive throughout the hell weeks and to conquer the deadlines of the projects. we were able to reach our goals( to submit the project on time and to learn from each other). I would want to thank them as well as my human communication teacher, mr. murali, for improving my communication skills and for enhancing my knowledge about communication. i can truly say that this is a well-learned experience for me.
